The Center for Media Literacy website contains a diverse range of information about educational media. Some of the topics covered are computer literacy, global media literacy, history of media, how to teach media literacy, media activity resources, student made media, and visual literacy. Another excellent feature is the MediaLit Kit which discusses how to apply media literacy to the classroom environment.

• Educational Media Reviews Online
Educational Media Reviews Online is a database of video, DVD, and CD-ROM reviews on materials from major educational and documentary distributors. The reviews are written primarily by librarians and teaching faculty in institutions across the United States and Canada.

• A Guide to Multimedia in Education
Created by Chuck Wahle, Technology Coordinator and Teacher in the Ellensburg, WA school district. Includes three sections: The Grand Tour: A Quick Guide to Multimedia; Issues in Education: Production vs. Consumption; and What’s Happening?: Links to Multimedia Sites.
