[LM_NET] need picture book recommendation

A fifth grade teacher wants a short story or picture book
dealing with  interpersonal conflict and how it is resolved.  
The book needs to be appropriate for her to read aloud to
 4th and 5th graders.  Everything I've found so far is too juvenile.  
Any recommendations?
