[LM_NET] TARGET: Are E book readers ready to be checked out of libraries?

Question for those of you using Kindles, Sony readers, etc.

Are any of these readers ready to be checked out of a school library?

Or are they too new, too fragile, too easy to buy more books on your
credit card, etc?
