[LM_NET] TAR: curriculum help

Hello Folks:

I am helping to write a new course curriculum for "Reading in the Content
Areas". The course is aimed at 6th and 7th grades and aims to improve
reading for comprehension. The ability to read and absorb text books has
been identified as a weakness in our students. Can anyone  help with
some ideas, or perhaps a roadmap to a performing curriculum?. Thanks
