[LM_NET] ISO : Sorcerer/Apprentice Theme in Children's Literature

I was reading *The Sorcerer's Apprentice* by Mary Jane Begin this week to
one grade, when I realized the story was very similar to *Strega Nona and
Big Anthony *by Tomi DePaola.  I began to wonder what other books have the
same theme of the young apprentice disobeying the mentor.  Of course, Harry
Potter uses magic when he isn't supposed to.  So, if you know of any other
titles that have this, please contact me.
