[LM_NET] HIT: ELEM / PreK Looking for series of books with a ladybug logo

My original request:   I received a request from a teacher this
morning.  He remembers a > preschool series of books on a variety of
topics, which have a ladybug  label or logo on the back.  Can anybody
identify the series?

The consensus is that the series is Ladybird Books, a series from the
UK.  The link is here: http://www.ladybird.co.uk/  Another LM_Netter
suggested looking at Picture Window books, which I haven't done yet.

Some of the books seem to be out of print, but there are "vintage
collections" available from Ladybird.  I'm sure the classroom teacher
who sent me the question will be charmed to realize that since he
remembers the books, he must be vintage, too!  :-)
