I have a group of girls who love "girly books." They particularly like series
books. They've been through Katy Kazoo, Mallory, Emma (by Warner), Alice (the
younger ones) by Naylor, Millicent Min, Clementine, and I've ordered Sassy, the new
Sharon Draper book. These are the ones I can think of from home.
I'm looking for some new "heroines" for them to read. They like contemporary
realistic fiction about girls who are about their age which would be third-fifth
grade. They enjoy lighter, more humorous stories rather than something serious but
I'd be open to trying some serious books with them too.
Are there any books your girls love that I need to add to the collection?
Please email me at home off list and I'll compile a hit if asked.
