[LM_NET] looking for MS book title

 Great Brain - 

I have a 7th grade girl looking for a book that she previously read that
rings no bells with me. On the cover it has a picture of a girl's face with
vines for hair. The story is about a girl who enters a forest and has great
adventures. She can fly and she comes across a village of talking gorillas.
Does this sound familiar to anyone. TIA
