[LM_NET] Target :ELEM: Hurt Go Happy appropriate for fourth grade

Hi all, I have a teacher who is considering reading *Hurt Go Happy* by Rorby
to her fourth grade class. She is concerned about some of the information
presented in the story. She asked my opnion and I have not read the book,
but I told her I would ask the librarians. Based on level and reviews, I
think I would not use it as a read-aloud. Has anyone read this book to a
younger class? If you have read it, would you recommend it as a fourth grade
read-aloud?
