Sandy's explanation was so pertinent that I was motivated to immediately send an
email to my representative. I went to the ALA Washington Office website
http://capwiz.com/ala/home/ and used the Legislative Action Center since it has
my information and a sample wording of a letter all ready. I was even able to
upload my photo to the letter so the staffers can say, "Oh, yeah, we remember the
school library lady with red hair." I customized my letter at the beginning, and
it still took under 3 minutes to do. I hope all of you think our profession and our
students worthy of your time to do this today. Thanks for letting me chime in.
