[LM_NET] ELEM: Lessons for a new librarian

Hi All,

I am writing on behalf of a friend of mine. She is starting in two K-5
elementary schools next week and was just told she has to hand in her first
week's lesson plans. I have limited experience with working on a fixed
schedule. I suggested she many want to do some introduction activities, go
over rules and procedures and maybe have the older kids do some silent
reading. I'm not sure what they've been doing for the last month. Can anyone
offer any suggestions on how she can have a successful first week?
