Thank you to everyone who responded to my questions - there is much to discuss and 
debate there and
with all the background information that people took the time to send, my kids will 
be able to argue
from an informed perspective.

I know the two key issues they will get into will be fixed terms and whether it's 
right you can vote
and fight for your country at 18 but can't drink alcohol until you are 21.  The 
latter will be
particularly interesting because there is much publicity and concern here about 
alcohol-induced
violence and MVAs amongst young people.
