[LM_NET] ELEM: Science Fiction Genre

Hi All,

I checked the archives, but was not able to find a good answer. I am looking
for a fun way to introduce the science fiction genre to my third graders. I
would like to read a picture book (or very brief chapter book) with them and
include a discussion on either theme or setting. I read a lot of science
fiction when I was little, but cannot remember any good picture books. This
lesson will continue the discussions I have been having with them on the
different fiction genres. Since I only have a 40 minute period that must
also include book selection, I obviously do not have a whole lot of time for
this lesson.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
