Over the summer I read an article in SLJ about Urban Lit. Most of the
article dealt with high school titles. Like many of you working in an urban
environment, I am trying to reach my African American males with books. I was
wondering if anyone has had success with programs or book talks that target
Urban Lit. What titles do you suggest for middle school?
