A number of us at school have been watching John Adams, although
not as
many as I would think.? I keep talking about it to people, but
so many
people don't have HBO.? Anyway....one of the people I work with
thinks
that he has found an anachronism, that there wouldn't have been
a
fountain at Versailles because there was no electricity.? I'm
thinking
that they had fountains for centuries, but when it gets right
down to
it, how would they have been powered?? Would they have been
gravity fed
or something?? Anyone have insights into antique plumbing?
