Beth,

In talking with the public relation department I learned that the Kindle
is not rated or intended for use other than personal at this time. There is
a statement in the Kindle user guide which explains this in legalspeak.

I love my Kindle and hope it will soon be available for public use. I
especially like the dictionary look-up feature you can access while reading.
I think it will be a motivator for some students.

I am thinking of purchasing a Kindle for our school library.  Has anyone
else done this and how do you utilize it?  I like the idea of having the
subscription to the New York Times on the Kindle, something I can not get
