[LM_NET] THANKS for advice - TARGET: tech help reinstalling HP printer

Hi,

After fighting for days with my usually quite reliable HP LaserJet 5550 color
printer, in an attempt to get it to print my documents, I gave up and
uninstalled the driver so that I could start from scratch.  I've tried to
download the proper driver (I am running Windows XP on my pc) from the HP site
without any success.

I can't find the cd that came with the printer.  Anyone have any
suggestions for me ?  And do I need to actually disconnect the printer from my
computer when installing the driver or is there some other step I may be
skipping ?
