Hello all.
I am looking to see if anyone schedules a flex period during the school day? If you
are not sure what that is, it is kind of like an open period or school wide study
hall. Our principal is working on the schedule and wants ideas for how we should
run the flex period. In the past the students reported back to homeroom and the
teachers kept a small group of students for remediation or extension activities.
The other students were sent to the library, computer lab, chorus, band etc. What I
am wondering is what do other schools do with a similar set up? Thanks for the
input.
