[LM_NET] GEN: Cataloging Answer

Hello,

Paula E. Riddle Lead Cataloger Mackin Library Media sent me this answer
and I think this is how I will handle this book.

 

They are saying to themselves that since his name is in the title he
should get the 100 tag, BUT according to the rules in AACR2 since his
name is not on the title page and there are editors listed on the title
page technically he should be in a 700 and this record should be a title
main entry. It could be a difference in interpreting the rules 21.12A
and 21.12B, but I really don't think he should be in the 100 since his
full name is not listed on the title page and the editors are.
