I am interested in how you balance the mission of your school with your selection
policy. We have a pretty standard selection policy that includes the Freedom to
Read from ALA, but it also includes the school's mission statement. I am in the
process of interpreting this for an elementary school, and would be interested in
how others in this same situation do things. I will be working with a small group
of faculty/administration to get everyone on the same page. If there is interest I
will post a hit.
