[LM_NET] Question about Microsoft Word

Whenever I try to open Word, it takes about 10-15 seconds to do so. I tried  
saving all my files to a thumb drive in case the computer thought it was too  
full, but that didn't help. I tried compressing all my files. That didn't help 
 either.
 
Could anyone give an idea about what I could do to make it open quickly  like 
it used to do? I'd appreciate any insight.
