Hi,
My school social worker is looking for titles to read and discuss with
4th and 5th graders about a classmate who is about to lose a parent. He
wants these books to be a bit "meatier" than The fall of Freddy the leaf
type stories. He would love stories that talk about how to help a
friend whose parent dies and teaches them what the child may be feeling
and going through. Any suggestions? Can be either fiction or
non-fiction.\
Thanks!
Kate
