[LM_NET] MIDDLE: Great first lines in books

Good afternoon,

The Gifted and Talented teacher at our middle school is wanting some great 
first lines from middle level / YA books, including more current titles. I 
checked the archive and found threads from 1998-2004. Can anyone update 
these? Or know a source to find such a list?
