My original post was requesting advice about rotating video. I was advised to try
Windows Movie Maker. It did not have a rotation tool.
Another suggestion was VirtualDub 1.7.7 which is a free program that you can
download. That works but it doesn't work with .mov files (Quicktime).
I already had a program that I purchased a couple of years ago, called Digital
Media Converter. I believe it cost about $40 at the time. I use it to convert the
.mov files to .avi (I had purchased it so I could compile my movie clips into a
movie with Windows Movie Maker. Of course, I have only found time to create one in
the last 2 years!)
Then I can import them into the VirtualDub 1.7.7 program and rotate them.
It takes a few steps but it is easy.
I will be careful how I hold my camera from now on! lol
Thank you to those who replied and I hope this helps someone else. Sandra Carswell,
