[LM_NET] Author Visit

I am currently doing my school media internship in a K-2 elementary school.  Today 
we had the author and illustrator, Kathleen Bart, visit us. Only the 2nd graders 
participated in this visit.  Ms. Bart was great!  She has a new book out, "Town 
Teddy & Country Bear Tour the USA".  She was dressed in a cute outfit and dressed 
up a little during her presentation.  Her illustrations are fabulous!  She also had 
pictures of the places she wrote about in the book because she visited them.  She 
told funny stories about her experiences during some of the visits.  She is witty 
and really kept the attention of the students!  After reading the book, she 
explained how she wrote the book and the steps she took to get it to the final 
copy.  It was great because she showed the students that there is a process and 
perfection doesn't come easily.  She also showed the kids how to draw a teddy bear! 
 It was very cute.  I would HIGHLY recommend her to visit any school (K-5).  You
