[LM_NET] Help: new librarian with a traditional card catalogue

Hi everyone,

I just began my first library position as a k-8
librarian.  I have an old-fashioned card catalogue and
a huge back-up of books yet to be catalogued.  Does
anyone have suggestions for speeding up the process?

We are still using a type-writer for each card.  Does
someone have a template for the computer that might be
faster?  

I really appreciate any and all suggestions.
