Sorry - I sent the hit the first time without a subject, so here's goes again...
Wow! I received a huge number of responses in a very short time. A couple of
people asked for a hit. My original question was if it is legal to put Uncorrected
Proof books on the shelves. A couple of people said that they do circulate them.
However, the overwhelming majority said no, they are not to be circulated. These
books often contain many errors. Some people said that they give them away as
prizes or to students who can't check out because they owe late books or fines.
Thank you all for your prompt responses!
