[LM_NET] ELEM/MS: Author Visit: Sally Walker

We were fortunate today to have Sally Walker visit today at our school.  I
would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an author visit.  She spoke
to our SK, 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th, and 5th grades.  For each grouping she varied
her presentation to make it age appropriate and interesting.  Even more
impressive was how different each presentation to each group was and she
didn't even come close to covering all of the topics she came prepared to
speak on.  She came with wonderful visuals that engaged the kids in the
research process, the writing process, and even how they make books (which
was definitely the coolest thing for many of the kids).  I would give her a
very high recommendation.
