[LM_NET] SEC: French education system {Scanned}

I am collaborating with the French teacher to develop a culture research
assignment that will then lead to a persuasive essay.  We are having
difficulty finding information on the French Education system.  She is
specifically looking for resources that describe the type of courses
required (language @ elementary school), the baccalaureate testing ALL
areas, etc.  She wants them to really understanding the philosophical and
organizational differences between French education and education in the
United States.  I would love to here from any French librarians or
librarians that have resources they would share.  Thanks.
