[LM_NET] Target: 6th grade read aloud

I just had a teacher email me for a read aloud for 6th graders in our
after-school at risk program. I am drawing a blank...What books would
you recommend for 6th grade, mixed gender group. I did check the
archives, but the last posting was from 2000. 

 

Did I say that I have to have the title for him in about 1 hour?
