And just to divert everyone's attention from Doug's ranting and
"rabblerousing" (just kidding), I wanted to ask if anyone has been
watching the Science / Discovery Channel's series "Download: The True
Story of the Internet?"    I watched an episode over the weekend and
it covered the Napster / Kazaa debate and how the music industry
"reacted" rather than embraced the 2.0 technologies that allow us to
share.

The whole series is very interesting....and very "library-related"
because it discusses how technology has changed the way we think about
using (and sharing) music, movies, etc.  (Wish I could buy the series
now!)
