Hello all!
I am teaching a one-semester library/research/information skills course next year
(called ‘Life Beyond Google’) for all 4 grades of high school. This will be the
first time I have taught a class like this & the first time it has been offered at
my school. Here are the questions I have at the moment:
1. What textbooks do you recommend?
2. Best source(s) for lesson plans?
3. How have you structured the course?
4. Did you use a skills assessment to track progress? Which one?
5. What do students like/dislike about the course?
6. If you have an example syllabus or rubric that you are willing to share I
would love to see it.
Any general advice would also be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Erin Miller
