[LM_NET] problem with formatting palette Microsoft Word 04

Can anyone help me with this problem? 
When I open Microsoft Word on my Mac and try to view the formatting 
palette it zooms down to the bottom of the screen below the dock.  I have tried 
moving the dock and everything else I can think of to get it back but no luck.
