[LM_NET] Book Fair at Book Store

Greetings Colleagues!

My K-5 library is sponsoring a one day Book Fair at a community Book Store
 the Saturday before Halloween.   
In the past we have had contests for best costume, decorated pumpkin, and "guess 
the weight of the pumpkin". Teachers have read books aloud and I have told scary 
stories. However, we have done this for three years and I really need some fresh 
ideas. I know you are the ones to ask.
Any thoughts about ways to motivate students and families to come to an off site 
activity is truly appreciated.  I will post a hit.
