I think BANG BANG YOU"RE DEAD may be based on a book by the same title
by Louise Fitzhugh, author of Harriet the Spy.

Also- don't forget a very young Matt Damon in School Ties- the prototype
for his role in The Talented Mr. Ripley- and a very young Anthony Rapp
as well- of RENT fame.
