No hall duty, but I have parking lot duty at dismissal one or two days a
week; last year it was three days. The art teacher and I split lunch duty
three days a week. Last year the PE teacher did lunch duty, but this year
he does another job at lunch - for which he gets paid. Whenever something
needs done or classes need covered, the "specials" teachers are called upon
to do it.
Non-library duties seem to vary with the value an administrator places on
the library. Our previous principal tried to call on me last, spare me as
much out of library time as possible. The extra jobs are not my first
choice, but we all do what we have to, especially in a parochial school.
