[LM_NET] TAR: External storage

Hi everyone -
 
I'd appreciate your opinions and personal experiences regarding  external
hard drives and/or pen drives (with large capacity).  I want to store  about 
3,000 yearbook
photos on an external unit and would like it to be as portable as  possible.  
What
do you use for large-capacity external storage and what are your opinions  and
recommendations?
