Greetings!
I've just begun a new position at a school which purchased the
Scholastic Reading Inventory [SRI] and Reading Counts! programs
during the last school year. Up until this past month I was not aware
of lexile levels at all.
I suddenly find myself being cast in the position of a young adult/
juvenile readers advisory service. Each young reader is pleading to
be guided to a book they'd enjoy linked to their specific lexile
level. Fair enough...
My question to you is this:
Is anyone putting together lists of popular genres, or authors,
perhaps series linked to lexiles?
Are there any websites or listerv's doing this?
Any there databases I could subscribe to for the purpose?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Regards,
