We are working on a chart that is about literary destinations places where
beloved/well-known or at least GOOD children's books take place. For example,
Portland, Ore (Ramona books), Boston (Make
Way for Ducklings), Betsy Tacy ( MN) NYC (Eloise) looking for characters set in the
Midwest and South preferably for younger children (4-8 maybe), that have the
Midwest as a background. We're looking for Chicago, St. Louis, etc.
I am doing some research then thought , ah, hah! LM NET. Please reply directly to
me and I will post a hit.
Thanks Lisa
