[LM_NET] looking for a book recommendation

Hi Everyone,
Our school does book clubs with small groups of 8th graders  and we 
usually  read books on immigration and or migration.  My group has been 
reading THE GLORY FIELD, by Walter Dean Myers, and we're looking for a 
replacement.    One of the other groups does THE JOY LUCK CLUB.   I'm 
hoping you have some suggestions for a new title.  Thank you in advance 
for all your help.
