This site was mentioned on a Library blog: The Daily lit
http://www.dailylit.com/home
It is super- they send a brief portion of a book each day via e-mail. It's mostly
the "classics" out of copyright materials - Mark Twain-ish stuff. They do have
Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie. The e-mails are short, readable. The Agatha
Christie I'm subscribed to is 102 e-mails.
A student won't read "fast" but they might enjoy reading a whole book for fun!
