[LM_NET] TARGET: picture books for high school library

Goal: to provide more materials to appeal to our SDC special ed classes.
What are your favorite picture books at a grade 1-2 reading level?  They
don't need to be aimed at teenagers. I just want to avoid "first day at
nursery school" type of plots.
