To everyone:
I can't help myself, but everytime I am asked if Nora Roberts or Sandra Brown is
appropriate for high school, I think of the scene in the film, "10 Things I Hate
About You" where Julia Stiles enters Allison (school counselor) Janney's office and
says, "quivering member".
If you haven't seen the movie, I'm sorry, but if you have, you understand.

I read with interest the post about Nora Roberts winning the Quill Award. Each
year I ask my high school students what they would like to have in the library; and
each year they request Danielle Steele, Nora Roberts, and Sandra Brown. What's your
professional opinion of that as appropriate collection material for high school and
how many of you carry it?
