Thanks to the publicity of the upcoming movie, I am now facing a book
challenge of Phillip Pullman's Golden Compass. Has anyone else had to
defend this book? I thought it was wonderful, and any anti-Christian
themes are way above the kids who are reading the book, but none the
less, I need some ammunition to help fight this. I am in a K-8 Catholic
school and just finished a successful book challenge of Harry Potter by
the same parent! Thanks for your input.
