[LM_NET] Target Elem: Scarecrow Idea

We are having a scarecrow contest at my K - 6 elementary school.  I am looking for 
a children's book or character that would make a cute scarecrow for the Media 
Center.  I want it to be something that will be easily recognizable and leave no 
doubt that it is book related.  I have not been able to come up with just the right 
one.  Please reply to me off list if you have any clever possibilities.  Thanks so
