Help! I'm not sure where else to look.
One of our senior boys read Give a Boy a Gun by Todd Strasser and loved
it. He wants something just like it that will "hold his attention all
the way through." I suggested Shattering Glass which he didn't think was
as good, just "okay." I've also suggested 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult
from the public library, but he probably won't take the time to go
there. I've also suggested Fat Kid Rules the World, but he read a page
or two and didn't think that was what he wanted. He seems to want
fiction (preferably in Reading Counts!) specifically about school
shootings. I really don't think he wants to shoot up our school; he
just liked the book. Can anyone help with other suggestions?
Thanks.
Marilyn
