We are looking for historical fiction that are similar to Johnny
Tremain, Brady, The Land, Roll of thunder, hear my cry & Let the circle
be unbroken.  
We are looking for books for an 8th grade student from Germany. He
speaks English pretty well, but has a hard time comprehending social
studies ideas. So we are looking for something a little easier to
understand about the same time period.
