I just "watched" it too this morning, although I had it on in the background while
doing other library-related work.
My two observations: 1)librarians definitely dress like Frances so the writers got
that right and 2) it will be interesting to see how the "untrained", non-MLS
"children's librarian" plays out - just because our jobs look so easy to the people
who observe us ("Miss, all you do is put books on the shelves. Why do you need a
master's degree for that?"), can you really be a librarian without the training? It
will be interesting to see what the writers come up with.

Yes, everyone, I just watched Episode 1 online, so those of us who normally see a
different "ABC" are able to watch "The Librarians" here in the U.S.
It was a fun way to start my Sunday - but it's definitely for "Mature" audiences
as the rating states.
Can't wait to see Episode 2 -
