We have a guest speaker, Anita Archer, coming to Arizona in January who is being
sponsored by the Arizona Department of Education. I did some online searching
because one of the teachers is being asked to attend and asked me to join her.
It's a three-day conference on "Struggling Adolescent Readers". I'm wondering if
this is going to be useful or if this is a pitch for her program "Reward Reading
Program" which is marketed by Sopris West. Does anyone have any knowledge or
experience with either Dr. Archer or the program? I would really like to know
before I sit through a program that is nothing but a sales pitch. TIA
