[LM_NET] OT: Summer Road Trip Fueled by WVO

Hi All,

 

My husband and I have been awarded teacher creativity grants from the
Lilly Endowment, and our project involves converting a diesel-powered
car to run on waste vegetable oil and then drive it across the US and
back this summer.  As part of the application for the grant, we mapped
out a northern route across to Seattle, down the coast, and then back
along a more southerly route.  As you can tell, we're taking the high
route there and the low route back.  Even though we do have a projected
route, we still have some flexibility with it, so if you would like/have
the time to suggest anything that we should see or do as we travel, I'd
love it if you would share them with me.  Although we're interested in
seeing some of the major tourist must-sees while on the trip, we also
really love to experience local culture, food, and fun.  Of course,
we're also interested in seeing libraries, talking with other teachers,
and meeting with other WVO drivers along the way.
